Vegetation zone map
Climate:
We have marine west coast, semi-arid, humid continental, and highlands.
The highland part is found where our mountains are. The marine west coast is found bordering the river and the ocean. This is because the climate includes rainfall all year. This provides the water for the river, and includes the rainfall that comes from bordering an ocean. The humid continental is found only near the lake, because with the lake there is lots of moisture. Having humid continental makes sense, because it includes the humidity and temperatures around lakes. The rest of the country is semi-arid. This comes from the winds over the mountains, which dry out our land. However, the winds will also bring moisture: this is why we have semi-arid and not arid.
Vegetation:
We have mixed forest, desert scrub, temperate grasslands, and highlands.
Obviously the highlands is found around the mountain range. The desert scrub is found at the far east side of the country. This is, because the winds will bring dryness, and to the east no rainfall. Also the desert scrub is where are vast plains are found. We have temperate grasslands where the semi-arid is, because that area will be dry and have some moisture. It also accounts for our vast grasslands and commercial farming. The mixed forest is found where the marine west coast is. A forest needs sunlight, and lots of moisture, which the climate provides. With only warm summers, cool winters, and rainfall all year a forest will thrive.
Utopian Reasoning:
These zones are the most utopian because they match with what the real world has. They are also reasonable climates and vegetations: not to hot, not to cold. Many people will enjoy living in Nirvana because of this beautiful climate and vegetation.
